If I can stop one heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching
or cool one pain.
Or help one fainting Robin
unto his nest again
I shall not live in vain.

Some of my professional and personal experiences:
Growing up in Germany, I started to facilitate youth groups from the age of 16. Always interested in social justice and traveling the world, I left after High School to live and work in Jordan in a boarding school for boys from disadvantaged families.
After finishing my Social Work degree, I became a mother and nearly at the same time founded (together with a friend) a network to support refugees and asylum seekers in our community. After the adoption of two children from South America we moved to Melbourne in 2000. While studying again, I volunteered with the Victorian AIDS Council, now Thorne Harbour Health. Opening my private practice more than 15 years ago was another new beginning.
My interests and what makes my heart sing haven’t changed over all those years; helping others to be what they can be, enjoying good moments, traveling the world.
I respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the people of the Kulin Nation, on which I live, connect and contribute. I pay my respect to their Elders, past and present.
